DAVE CLINE TRIBUTE AT THE CROSSROADS OF THE WORLD



If you're in town next Sunday, stop by and celebrate the life of a good friend and fellow soldier. I will be the Master of Ceremonies at the event, so please - get off the Internet, and go down to Times Square and help us end Bush's WAR. Also -I will be hosting a 3 hr radio tribute Dave on WBAI 99.5 fm on Saturday, Jan 12th, from 12 noon until 3pm, featuring poets, music and comedy. During the show, I will be taking phone calls from those who knew, or wish they had know, Dave Cline, a great American hero. If you are out of the tri-state area, listen live on www.wbai.org. On Saturday, January 12, 2008, from 12:00 noon -3:00 p.m., Al Lewis Lives and Radio Free Eireann will host a three-hour radio tribute to David Cline, Anti-war activist and Vietnam Veteran on WBAI, 99.5 F.M. Join hosts Karen Lewis and John McDonagh as they pay tribute to the life of this remarkable humanitarian and soldier, who, after being wounded during the Vietnam War, dedicated his life to helping fellow soldiers, and being instrumental in the fight against the war in Iraq. The radio special will be followed by a memorial on Sunday, January 13th, at Connolly's, located at 121 W. 45th Street (between Broadway and 6th Avenue) from 2-6 p.m., featuring music, poetry and comedy.
