John McDonagh is a cab driver, comic, and political activist. John began his career as a New York City yellow cab driver after serving in the U.S. Army in Germany during the Vietnam War. He is also the producer, host and founder of Radio Free Eireann, a weekly radio show heard on WBAI New York for the past twenty years. The International Auto Show at the Jacob Javits Center in New York

The International Auto Show at the Jacob Javits Center in New York opens on April 6 and runs through April 15. Marking the 100th anniversary of the modern-day Taxi in New York City, the Design Trust for Public Space has created an exhibition on the future of Yellow Cabs.
